GM-Government & Project Acquisition

Candidates who have good command in centre and state and can help in getting tenders passed and might have worked on the following projects:

- State Wide Area Network

- Common Service Center

- City Surveillance/ Wifi

- Connectivity Projects

- e Government Projects (ePassport type of projects)

Job Specification :

Lead Govt. & Projects Acquisition Reporting to (Position) : Head - Wifi

Business Unit : Customer Acquisition (Mobility) Function: Business

Site Acquisition for the purpose of deploying Wi-Fi Access Points / Small Cells at locations owned / financed by

- Central and State Governments and their undertakings

- PSUs

- Development agencies

Key Responsibilities :

Account Acquisition Planning :

- Based on overall Wi-Fi / Small Cells Business Plan and Key Account Acquisition Targets provided, create Key Account-wise - Month-wise Acquisitions and AP/Small-Cell deployment plans

Conducting the Key Account Acquisition Process :

- Initiating contacts with identified Key Accounts in coordination with State Heads

- Collating and acting on market intelligence on new tenders / RFPs

- Communicating customer requirements / expectation to Presales

- Reviewing Tenders / RFPs along with Pre-Sales and raising queries / alternate suggestions where required

- Overseeing proposal / RFP response documents prepared by Pre-Sales (including commercial offer estimates)

- Acting as the Single Point of Contact for the targeted Key Accounts during the Acquisition Phase - Coordinate and helping resolve issues arising during Acquisition

- Submitting commercial offers to Key Account customers and conduct commercial negotiations in line with Delegation of Authority / Approvals provided

- Identifying additional monetization opportunities during site acquisition and involving relevant teams from the Wi-Fi / Small Cells Business (NHQ)

- Managing the tendering and contracting process in an end-to-end manner, always keeping in mind organization's interests and consult relevant stakeholders such as State, NP&E, Legal, Finance etc. wherever required.

Supporting Key Account Relationship Management :

- Actively engaging the accounts with a view to site retention, identifying further business development opportunities, as well as trying to identify potential challenges before they occur

- Overseeing the overall relationships with acquired accounts

- Actively engaging with Accounts and NP&E to ensure smooth deployment of acquired sites [escalation / coordinating with Jio stakeholders at appropriate levels where required]

Site partner revenue and expense management :

- Driving revenue from direct site partner monetization avenues

- Identifying and leveraging opportunities for revenue improvement / cost reduction

- Overseeing any monthly / periodic account settlements with Site partners

People :

Educational Qualifications : PG/MBA/PGDM

Years of Experience : Around 15 and Above

Enterprise : Telecom

Technological :

- Analytical Ability, Customer Orientation, Process and Execution Excellence, Result Orientation

- Strategic Capability, Commercial Acumen, and Financial Modelling

Knowledge & Skills (Indicate which criteria are mandatory) :
