Job Description

Reporting to the Director - Finance your responsibilities will include:

- Leading the monthly management reporting process including analysis to support monthly queries from the parent company

- Leading the consolidation of annual operating and strategic plan data, providing analysis on budget data, and leading related enhancement

- Leading the consolidation, review and analysis of forecast data

- Researching significant technical accounting issues (purchase accounting, divestitures, leasing, taxes, etc.) including coordination with Parent accounting staff

- Leading integration efforts related to the financial reporting systems in the new acquisitions

- Managing data loads, mapping, and journal entries and ensure financial integrity between SAP and HFM (Parent consolidation system)

- Designing and managing reporting templates used by the regions for the strategic plan, forecast and operating plan processes

- Managing assigned tasks during the closing process

- Preparing finance presentations and special financial reports for executive management

- Manage special projects as needed. Driving initiatives for leaders throughout the finance team at varying levels

- Performing analysis on product and plant profitability and identify key drivers of the business

- Suggesting business improvement ideas and drive key initiatives of the company such as P+, V+, PMDB

- Leading the internal and external audit process

- Ensuring high level internal control environment in conjunction with the Internal Control Manager

- Working closely with Sales & Marketing, operations, HR and others functions

- Keeping abreast with the latest changes in the various tax laws such as companies law, tax laws etc

Profile

As a successful applicant you are a qualified diversity Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant with approximately 10 years of experience from a manufacturing background and have spent time at the plant level. Experience within the packaging industry would be preferred. You have handled a vast area of finance and accounts including financial reporting, planning and analysis, multiple budget cycles, treasury. You have excellent management and co-ordination skills and are used to handling teams of over 10 with reporting from multiple locations. You have a strong process and compliance orientation.
