Years of experience: 8-10 years of post qualification experience preferably from a manufacturing/Pharmaceutical/FMCG background

Education: CA/ICWA/MBA Finance

Key responsibilities:

- Manage accounting function in India. Ensure financial reports are consolidated on a monthly basis according to both US GAAP and local financial reporting requirements. Ensure that corporate accounting policies and procedures are followed, and the integrity of accounting records is maintained

- Oversee all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables, inventory and payroll. Improve accounting operations to better identify and track financial performances. Identify operational improvements which will enhance profitability and minimize risks

- Manage and complete various audits of various legal entities within the defined timeline including audit and accounting management of Bangladesh, Srilanka & Singapore entity

- Handling Banking and treasury matters. Cash flow planning, Credit renewals, working capital and debt management. Ensuring compliance of treasury and hedging policies of the company

- Participate and champion the SAP implementation project from finance function

- Process improvements and develop and establish sound business practices /controls in operations

- Review capital expenditure proposals and make recommendations on their viability

Secondary Responsibilities:

- Compliance of statutory requirements under various acts

- Six sigma project –involvements/ implementation

- Consolidation of Monthly, Quarterly accounts Under US GAAP & I GAAP

- Receivables/Payables reporting and Branch-wise profitability etc

Must haves for this role:

- Sound knowledge of India and US accounting practices(US GAAP)

- Experience of interacting with internal business partners and external stakeholders like Banks, Tax authorities etc

- Thorough understanding of multi dimensional information systems concepts

- Excellent leadership abilities, focussed, high integrity and strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Financial planning experience is preferred
