As the General Manager - Finance, the post will involve job responsibilities equivalent to a CFO, such as:

- Directs the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports, company tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies.

- Oversee the preparation and maintenance of MIS

- Oversees accounting departments, budget preparation, and audit functions. Meets regularly with department heads to keep informed and to offer direction.

- Reviews reports to analyse projections of sales and profit against actual figures, budgeted expenses against final totals, and suggests methods of improving the planning process as appropriate.

- Ensures that all Financial Compliances which are required by the organisation are met

- Manages and maintains the cash flow forecasting & Working capital management.

- Manages payroll and accounting

- Analyses company operations to pinpoint opportunities and areas that need to be reorganized, down-sized, or eliminated.

- Confers with Managing Director and division leaders to coordinate and prioritize planning.

- Studies long-range economic trends and projects company prospects for future growth in overall sales and market share, opportunities for acquisitions or expansion into new product areas. Estimates requirements for capital, land, buildings, and an increase in the work force.

- Good solid financial control and processes.

- Stock costing / valuation & margin / profitability analysis.

- Recognizes and implements new developments in information systems technology, and anticipates organizational modifications.

- Establishes long-term needs for information systems, and plans strategy for developing systems and acquiring hardware to meet application needs.

- Ensures confidentiality and reliability of corporate data, proprietary information, and intellectual property.

- Oversees legal issues to include warranties, patenting

Experience:

- MBA finance from premier college: with 8 years of work experience

- MBA Finance from non-premier college - 12-13 years experience
Or
CA – with 7-9 years of experience.

Compensation: Upto 15 lakhs p.a
