Urgent requirement for a VC funded start up product firm - Bangalore  GM Digital Marketing   About this role:  - As a lead of the digital marketing team, the General Manager Digital Marketing will champion Client’s online marketing presence and strategy.   - This position reports to the VP of Marketing and will focus on customer acquisition, site traffic, conversion, and revenue.  - Own the global digital marketing strategy, activities and budget for Client. Manage digital marketing processes, plans and spend optimization across Client’s products.  - Build a world-class in house marketing team, leveraging agencies as needed.  - Develop robust attribution and tracking methodology to link digital media to business results and goals   - Establish KPIs to drive growth, manage performance and impact on business goals across products  - Create Digital Marketing Strategy: Create digital strategies that drive customer acquisition and engagement to maximize Client’s across growth across products and geographies, while driving brand consistency.   Responsibilities:  - Devising strategies to drive online traffic to the company website.  - Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website.  - Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns  - Utilising a range of techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC.  - Managing online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness.  - Managing the design/efficacy of the company website.  - Improving the usability, design, content and conversion of the company website  - Responsibility for planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing  - Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing  Requirements:  - Success leading online marketing in-house in a retail or transactional ecommerce environment  - Proven capbilities in driving large scale / hyper growth customer acquisition through digital marketing   - Highly analytical and metrics-driven leadership style  - Hands-on advanced expertise in digital marketing, including paid and organic search, affiliates, email marketing, social marketing and advertising, and other paid media  - Track record of success in providing analysis, strategic direction, and specific business recommendations to drive business results  - Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills   - 5-10 years of relevant digital marketing experience in a retail or transactional ecommerce environment  - Minimum of 2 years of team management experience
