(This team handles new business initiatives from conceptualizing, market & consumer understanding, financial modelling to execution. The team members closely work with sales, marketing, sales strategy and business intelligence teams during their respective phases of the project)

- Location - Mumbai

Role Summary :

Work closely with the leadership to help shape different new businesses from ideation to go to market strategy to actual launch execution. To this end, it will function as an incubator for the new business and will be responsible for launch strategy and execution across markets.

- Role Description:

- Act as an extended business arm of the start-up company and support it in all its business, strategy, marketing, hiring and marketing requirements.

- Work closely with other team members for market intelligence, consumer understanding, sales & business strategy and come up with an effective business plan and launch strategy.

- Develop a strong understanding of the market, competition and consumer needs, and derive insights based on the same.

- Create a brand strategy and plan to ensure that all consumer touchpoints and marketing activities align with the ethos of the brand and thereby create an enduring brand.

- Source and work with agencies and suppliers that fit with the context of the brand.

- To seek out new marketing opportunities that fit with the brand and maximize opportunities for growth.

- Educational Qualifications :

- Postgraduate degree / diploma from a tier 1 institute (defined as IIMA, IIMB, IIMC, IIML, ISB, XLRI-BM)

- Work Experience :

- 3~7 years of work experience in the marketing department of a company in a consumer-facing industry

- Functional knowledge & technical ability:

- Good understanding of business strategy, operations & marketing concepts

- Ability to engage independently with business partners, agencies and others

- Strong execution ability to manage issues and on-ground operations

- Ability to analyze data and derive trends / understanding from it
