Position: Regional Sales Manager @ Gloob Interior Design Pvt Ltd

Salary: 6 LPA - 10 LPA

Gloob Decor(www.gloobdecor.com) was founded in the year 2011 by serial entrepreneurs from IIT Mumbai. Founded in 2011 in the financial capital of India, Gloob D- cor is arguably India's fastest growing home d- cor brand with over 5000 products and 1 lakh+ variants across several major categories. Gloob D- cor is India's first multi-category, design and production lab in the space of home improvement.Within a short space, the company has turned into the biggest manufacturer and distributor of wall graphics (wall decals) and the only manufacturer of wallpapers in India.

It is also the largest in India in terms of customized graphic-based wall-papers and wall decals both in terms of product variety and market penetration which has enabled it to entrench institutional markets as well like Schools (www.flipskool.com) . The Wallpapers are sold under the brand name KEEMAYA, means miracle or magic. Apart from wallpapers the company also manufactures an exciting range of fancy clocks, designer canvas paintings (digitally printed), designer furniture (bookshelves, tabletops).

Going one step behind in the value chain, Gloob has backward integrated to make a foray into turnkey projects under which the Company takes up complete contracts of converting raw spaces into designer dwellings as per the wishes of the client. As of now the clientele is limited to new startups who have recently finalized office spaces in addition to some residential customers too.

The company also has setup a technology wing which focuses on developing Home D- cor Visualisaton applications (www.app.flipspaces.com) and will focus on developing awe inspiring products which involve tech like modular furniture, sofas etc.

Some key insights into the company are:

Sales Growth in figures:

1. We have been observing a growth of 300% for the year 12-13 and 13-14 while for FY 14-15 it climbed to 500% from previous year.

2. Totally organic growth fuelled by home grown revenues. No external investments, funding etc of any sort.

Number of Network Partners, now and then:

1. In a short span of 4 years since the first network partner was appointed, now we have more than 550 network partners across India

2. In the past year itself, we had appointed 180 dealers that is one dealer every other day.

3. We have established 4 Franchisees(dedicated to Gloob products only) as of now in New Delhi, Jaipur, Kathmandu. Also for Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad (store contraction is underway).

4. Target to reach 100 Franchisees by year end.

Territory/reach Expansion:

1. We are now present in 170 cities across India.

2. Expanded to 80 new cities this year itself in addition to 90+ cities previously.

International Presence Expansion:

Expanded the International presence to Bahrain and United Kingdom(online marketing partner as www.spicydecor.co.uk), we now are present in Nepal with our Franchisee Store. Looking forward to capture the Indian Sub continent market by Q2- 2015.

TurnKey Interior Design and Construction Projects:

1. An amazing foray into the turn-key space has taken us to a whole new level of project execution.

2. We have been doing this for past 6 months only while the response is overwhelming both in terms of revenue as well as Brand establishment. We have successfully developed the offices of some upcoming startups like Toppr, Ziffi, Tinyowl, Purple Squirrel, Ufaber, Coverfox,Asaan Jobs with project ticket size north of INR 1 Cr.

3. Looking forward to enter the Commercial Turnkey development arena and the residential segment too. Also the practice will be scaled to Jaipur, Gurgaon, Bangalore subsequently. Sales Team:

From a team of 10-12 person in just 6 cities (Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chandigarh, bangalore) on last 31st March, we have now a team of 70 sales people across India in 17 states in more than 30 cities (Jharkhand, West bengal, Maharshtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Telangana, Kerala).

The core team comprises of people from IIT, Powai and entire sales team size will grow to 120 people by June. The team is young and daring and focused towards fetching great heights. Employees have high and unquestionable level of accountability and the luxury of a flat and transparent culture.

Roles and Responsibility:

1. To create strategies for generating sales for home and office decor products of Gloob- through retail and institutional clientele.2. To plan and execute go to market strategies for generating sales and promotion for - Gloob- products3. Generating new clients and also retain existing clients i.e Interior Decorators/Architects.4. Responsible for identifying, appointing, developing & nurturing dealer's distributors.5. Growth as well as training for downline team. Hiring of staff also comes under the purview in assistance with HR team.6. Handling a team of Regional Sales Managers, Area Sales Manager, Territory Business Manager, Sales Officers spread across 3-5 states.

7. Managing a network of Franchisees across the territory and developing cum executing strategies for minimising the RoI plan for them.

8. Responsible for giving inputs and executing the conducting of primary, secondary product research and provide inputs to Product Development Team towards New Product Development and New Market Creation.

9. Responsible for undertaking branding activities to establish Gloob as the Trusted Brand within Interior Decorators and a prospective Employment Target for Colleges/Universities in the region.

10. Reporting directly to Country Head with MIS reports from all territories.

Desired Skills and Expertise

1. 5-10 years experience in managing channel network with a divese product portfolio.

2. Outstanding track record in planning and executing strategies for Channel Expansion.

3. Outstanding Team handling skills. Experience of handling team with skilled professionals from premiere colleges of India will be preferred.

4. Affluent with working on stict deadlines and handling steep targets, open hours of working.

5. Superior mathematical, analytical abilities are a must.

6. Adaptable to working under diverse conditions and high emotional quotient as the candidate may be required to work on strategic assignment from 3-6 months in different territories also.
