Global Sales Manager - Agri Implements/Equipments (9-15 yrs)
Key Responsibilities :
- Developing market entry strategy for combine harvesters in geographies South America, North America, Asia, Middle East, Australia & New Zealand markets
- Setting up channel and distribution network for earlier defined geographies and maintain on- going business partnership with them
- Forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly sales volumes and implementing action plans to achieve them
- Manages sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitor intensity
- Setting up and managing international team of country sales managers and reviewing sales operational parameters on on-going basis
- Implementing sales and service IT enabled systems for end-to-end customer lifecycle management
- Liaison with government authorities in major geographies for obtaining favourable subsidies and other benefits
- Building relationship with financiers for easy availability of credit and asset financing
Competencies :
- Rich international sales experience in selling combine harvesters preferably in multiple countries for any established players like John Deere, Case New Holland, Claas, AGCO, Deutz-Fahr or any Indian tractor OEM with global exposure
- Building relationship and ability to work in cross cultural environment
- Ability to understand and forecast macro trends affecting combine Harvester industry
- Technical knowledge of combine harvester for understanding customer requirements and providing inputs to Engineering (R&D) for modifications
