Global Retail Director  Location : Hyderabad  - This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for someone with the right mix of entrepreneurism and creativity. Already, we have become one of the largest retailers in Africa, selling and shipping over 50,000 items in the past 6 months. With your help, millions of children will be able to go to class looking smart with their stomachs fed and all school supplies present, feeling proud, and aspiring to succeed.  What You Will Do :  - Lead our retail practice including our vision, strategy, and plan to drive top-line growth and bottom-line profitability  - Develop new products and business models alongside the input of the Customer Experience and Customer Insights, to understand customer needs, and Finance teams to set budgets, projections, and pricing models  - Set global budgets, timelines, and product schedule that reflect the needs of each country we work in  - Develop and maintain relationships with the various factories who will produce our products, negotiating effectively to reduce costs and increase speed of turnaround  - Work with global Supply Chain on efficient and low-cost shipping, import/export, and distribution models  - Work with the Operations to develop the right protocols, recruiting, training, and procedures to schedule, fulfill, and audit orders to speed up delivery timelines and prevent spoilage and loss  - Maintain a connection to our communities to understand our customer, market, and competitive solutions in order to improve upon our products, fulfillment, and delivery systems  - Leverage retail to build a high-quality brand image with our customers  What You Should Have :  - Passion for our vision of democratizing the right for all children to succeed  - 8+ years of relevant experience, including extensive experience in product development, new business development, manufacturing, import/export, and supply chain  - Proven experience in apparel and concessions required  - Ability to manage as well as lead and execute projects yourself, we are a very hands-on company   - Exceptional negotiating abilities, all products must be sold at prices affordable to all families living in our communities   - Prior experience within a fast-paced, metric driven sales organization, start up or high-growth company experience preferred  - Supreme organisational, critical thinking, and communications skills  - Bachelor's degree in relevant field (retail management, production, business, management), graduate degrees preferred   The Retail Director will report to the Chief Experience Officer and manage a small global team of 1-2 people.  Location : India preferred. Up to 50% travel will be required to operating countries as well as factories and other vendors.
