Reports to : Global Marketing Director

Hours of Work : 9 am to 6 pm, Alternate Saturdays are working

Age (in yrs.) : 37-40 years

- Geographical Area to be covered: North America, Europe, Latin America, India, Rest of the World (Africa, Russia, SEA)

Desirables :

- Experience in handling agrochemicals at a strategic as well as operational level, Experience in launch of new products in new geographies and for different crop types, enhancing value of existing products, to improve overall profitability of the Portfolio and Organization, ability to identify new product combinations and mixtures to enhance the effectiveness of crop protection chemicals and create differentiation in the market (demonstrated ability to innovate)

Purpose of the Position :

- To provide strategic direction to the pesticide portfolio in various regions across the globe while guiding the country managers on positioning and launch of various products, identifying new product development opportunities and overseeing the overall P&L and growth of the portfolio globally.

- There will be ample opportunities to grow within India and at global level. A Good percentage of the current talent pool in country have moved to regional OR country head OR global roles.

Job Responsibilities :

Strategic Objective :

- Drive Topline and bottom line growth of regions for a respective financial year by maintaining product mix.

- Develop blueprint for sustainable growth of various regions across the globe by identifying potential business opportunities basis crop and agro climatic conditions existing at country and regional level.

- Responsible for building a sustainable & profitable portfolio across regions.

- Handling market intelligence, segmentation along with analysis and product positioning for the insecticide portfolio.

- New Mixture Focus: Develop new mixture ideas seeing the need gap and market dynamics

- Product Launches : Successful launch of products in respective regions and plan a geographic spread

Personnel and Human Resources : Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.

Customer and Personal Service : Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Law and Government : Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules.
