Job Description

Job Title: Global Director-IT Disaster Recovery

Reports to: Global Head- Business Continuity Management

Location: Noida

Experience: 15+ years

Position Summary: The Global Director of IT DR will be responsible for the leading, implementation and testing of IT resiliency strategies, best practices, standards and plans for Global BCM program. This includes providing leadership to the customer facing BC engagements as well and internal DR program. He will be also responsible for leading end to end DR planning and solutioning and testing across all business verticals globally.

Key Quantitative Measures:

The Global Director - IT Disaster Recovery is expected to perform the following functions.

- Lead IT DR planning and execution globally for all verticals and geographies

- Build the IT DR team implement the BC DR structure in line with Corporate BCM program and objectives.

- Manage IT DR in the deal lifecycle across verticals. Oversee the development and implementation of IT DR planning, solution and execution procedures.

- Oversee the development execution of recovery tests, scenarios and exercises, including planning, facilitation, reporting and oversight of remediation activities account

- Review new business, expansion, change, and project proposals as required

- Represent BCM team in Change Management Committee.

- Build and maintain a high-performance team within the IT DR organization with the capabilities for risk identification, assessment, measurement, mitigation, testing and reporting.

- Manage real time in accordance and lead Crisis Management efforts in alignment with Corporate IT team, business IT teams and end customers.

Major Responsibilities:

- Manage services that meet client expectations

- Establish a working relationship with client and IT stakeholders.

- Manage the end-to-end of the account-specific compliance obligations on IT DR

- Show innovation by changes to improve compliance effectiveness.

- Participate in a team environment in order to deliver a seamless service.

- Actively engage the teams and IT organization in Compliance Services

- Attend and actively participate in account team meetings.

- Engage with all functions to deliver on seamless continuity and resilience.

Problem Solving:

The Global Director - IT Disaster Recovery will face the following challenges will require some of the following aptitudes to succeed.

- Manage the expectations of organization

Requires the ability to roll up the sleeves and create the IT DR framework from scratch for in alignment with the organizational goals and BCM Program.

- Be able to demonstrate edge and confidence in challenging the status quo with Corporate and Business IT teams while maintaining a good working relationship with them.

- Manage the expectations assertive client.

- Requires the ability to respond proactively within the scope of the client agreement.

- Manage escalations, and complex problems.

- Requires the ability to judge the gravity of a situation and an awareness as to what one can to,personally to bring it to resolution, as well as when to seek assistance.

- Maintain solution focus, and loyalty to R&C and the larger objectives of company.

- Requires the ability to distinguish between client interests and interests and, knowing the distinction, to act in keeping with best interests.

- Maintain a positive and provide an example of model behaviours to junior staff, particularly those in R&C function

- Requires the ability to maintain a perspective on events, understanding service provision is a field that is rife with highs and lows.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience:

Educational: Degree in Technology

Professional Qualifications:

Desirable: DRII, BCI Certification

- ISO 22301

Experience:

- Desirable: 8-10 years- experience in IT DR, including 3-5 years in IT security, Audit or Risk and compliance.

- 5 plus years of management experience

- International Experience

- Experience working with US and EU regulatory bodies, exposure to BFSI, Healthcare and Energy domains.

- Experience and understanding of Problem, change, and escalation Process.

- Direct client engagement and leadership experience.
