Global Health Program Manager  The opportunity is with one of the leading Medical Device companies in the World:  POSITION DESCRIPTION :  The opportunity is in one of the new start ups within the company that will launch businesses that transform healthcare for underserved patients in emerging geographies by bringing locally-appropriate services, solutions, and products to market.   Seeking a talented program manager and business model innovator to help develop, and lead, various projects in India (including a priority program around developing a solution to increase access to diabetes in India)  Core functions of this role include :   1) Applying a structured business model process to identify health needs among the underserved in India, develop new and innovative solutions and business models to address these needs, and turn these models into sustainable businesses;   2) Manage projects and program teams working in each identified need area/potential business   POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :  - Help lead & engage a cross functional team (clinical, Diabetes, Diabetes India, product development) to develop, and commercialize, an innovative solution to increase access to diabetes treatment among underserved populations in India  - Provide program management leadership, and advice, to various start up portfolio programs in India  - Lead and facilitate brainstorming and ideation workshops to create and evaluate new and innovative solutions, and business models, to address the health needs of the underserved populations in India   - Work closely with colleagues to establish the strategy, requirements, schedule, and budget for in-market experiments to test pilot solutions and business models  - Provide ongoing project status updates to leadership and to stakeholders more broadly  - Represent the company externally in India in meetings and conferences related to global health access and social impact - routinely engage with a variety of diverse government, private and NGO stakeholder in India and globally  BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :  - Bachelor degree in Business, Health, Engineering Science, Design  - MBA or Masters- degree preferred  - Master degree in Business, Health or Engineering Science preferred  SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED :  - 2+ years of project and/or people management experience  - 5+ years of strategy, marketing and/or business development- relevant experience in innovation (product, process or business model innovation)   - Experience in healthcare industry (medical devices or pharmaceuticals), or relevant industries (e.g. product design consulting firms)  - Experience in social sector or social impact - work which indicates a commitment to, and passion for, improving the lives of underserved and low-income populations around the globe  - Preferred: Experience in entrepreneurship- either as part of a start-up, a venture-building, new product development or new business creation group within a larger corporation or as a consultant helping clients build new businesses
