Location: Delhi/Mumbai/Bangalore with frequent travel to the US.  Company: A 10 year old multi billion dollar US based company with operations in 65 countries is looking for a dynamic Global CHRO based in India.   Compensation: 2 crores INR + Profit/Gain Sharing (For the ideal candidature - the fixed is completely open)  The role reports directly into the Global CEO of the firm who is based in the US. This is a newly created position which oversees the HR operations globally. This new person will take full responsibility across markets including Asia, U.S., Europe as well as Latin America. The majority of employees are based out of US, Canada, UK, Germany, Australia, India, Japan and China, but they have significant presence in countries that are outside of these; so it increases the complexity and dynamic of the role.   The culture of the company is very fast-paced, transparent and entrepreneurial, so the new CHRO should embody these qualities, and help to preserve the culture while the company continues to grow.   Responsibilities  Work closely with the CEO and the executive team to develop & execute global human capital strategies that effectively support and enhance the overall global business strategies.  Proactively lead the development and evolution of corporate human resources policies, procedures, programs, and practices that support the continued transformation of the business needed to become a world-class specialty chemical company.  Provide insight and coaching to business leaders to implement and evaluate programs and plans that result in increased organizational effectiveness and productivity.  Maintain open communications with all levels of executives to assess the needs of their departments / divisions and help them accomplish business objectives by recommending human resources solutions and help them proactively manage their human capital.  Implement and maintain effective succession and development plans, including management development and employee career path programs appropriate for supporting and sustaining the company's transformation.  Participate in the design and management of competitive compensation and workforce planning strategies for all levels. Ensure that these programs enhance the company's ability to attract, retain and motivate a skilled and diverse workforce.  Continuously conduct research on varying HR topics to stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices.  Effectively manage the relation and interface with the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors and/or their designated external advisory firm on all standard matters.  Qualifications  15 to 20 years of progressive HR management experience including 7 + years as a senior HR Leader within a global organisation  A leader with a proven track record of delivering results  High level of personal integrity, ethics, initiative, and strong interpersonal skills  Strong sense of service and passion for our client's transformation; thrives on change, pace, action and accountability  Great judge of people / talent / situations  Postgraduate from the best schools  Experience leading a multi-site global HR team.  Capacity to build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels in the Organization  Proven ability to challenge and motivate management teams to foster innovation in an atmosphere of mutual respect  Ability to assist in goal accomplishment, effectively relating human and non-human resources to the HR processes for the corporation  Key Competencies For Success  Metric and results oriented  Creative thinker; fast on feet; proactive versus reactive  Able to drive change throughout the Organization  Change leadership; hands-on; - roll up the sleeves and get it done- mentality  Must have good balance of strategy and execution  Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills required  Confident and willing to push back on other senior leaders/internal clients/outside vendors, as needed  Builds a strong team to deliver results to the business  Self motivated  Demonstrates a high level of strategic thinking and breadth of consideration  Is credible and influential with senior executives and board of directors  High level of personal and business maturity with strong business acumen  Please send your detailed resume covering achievements, impacts and innovative practices instituted to identify and solve global HR issues.
