Senior Associate/Assistant Manager - HR (C&B)  Key Result Areas :   Compensation & Benefits  - Assist Head HR in preparing reports to make appropriate recommendations for compensation review  - Prepare data for participation in salary survey  - Participate in compensation survey, review internal and external compensation to finalize better salary and benefits.  - Assist Head HR in reviewing salary grids w.r.t. internal and external compensation trends and communicate internal salary grid to the recruitment team   - Provide input on policies regarding employee benefit and recommend changes  - Responsible for annual, mid-term and variable pay and increment computation  HR Compliance/ Statutory Activities :   - Timely compliance with statutory requirements- avoids non- compliance /show cause notices to deal with government officials  - Ensuring statutory compliance in the areas of Provident Fund, ESIC, LWF, renewal of contractor agreement and license etc.  MIS (Management Information System) & HRIS :   - Design, develop and deliver monthly/quarterly reporting around headcount, attrition and cost  - Analyze and deliver high quality and accurate MIS in stringent timelines   - Respond in a timely manner to ad hoc requests from the business and senior management  - Provide inputs for automating report generation to reduce manual intervention  Payroll Management :   - Ensure all checks and voids are inputted in the payroll output   - Supervise leave management system, take accountability for accuracy of attendance and leave records  - Responsible for estimating variable pay, leave encashment etc.  - Responsible for compute and payouts accurate variable pay i.e. KRA's & Project Profitability incentive   - Responsible for issuing Annual and mid-year increment letter   Required Competencies :   Technical :   - C&B industry practices   - Regular upskill on HR compliance / Statuary changes   - Excel skills   - Attention to Detail - Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.  - Accuracy (with numbers)  Behavioral :   - Strong sense of confidentiality and ethics   - Persistence - Job requires persistence in the face of obstacles  - Initiative - Job requires willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges  - Independence - Job requires developing one's own ways of doing things, guiding oneself with little or no supervision, and depending on oneself to get things done  - Analytical Thinking - Job requires analyzing information and using logic to address work-related issues and problems
