Job Description - Principal Analyst
Requirements :
- 4-6 years of work of hands-on research experience, with a demonstrated ability to consistently deliver quality output customized to client requirements.
- Understanding of Procurement and/or Supply Chain domain
MUST exhibit a strong understanding in one of the following :
- IT
- Energy
- Pharma
- Professional Services
- Good to have - Team management skills
- Good to have - Experience in Supply Market Intelligence
- Excellent written and oral interpersonal communication skills
Key Responsibilities :
- This is an instrumental position to be part of the growing market intelligence practice and will require you to work on projects that are important for our client's procurement organization
- Build and execute category strategy for your spend area (either IT/Energy/Pharma/Professional services). Have complete ownership of your spend area
- Key enabler in client acquisition process. Liaise with Sales and Engagement Managers to identify prospects and play critical role in their acquisition
- Work with client's procurement stakeholders to understand their key data/insight requirements and design MI frameworks to address those requirements.
- Proactively deliver whitepapers and other collateral to project GEP as one of the thought leaders in industry (IT/ Energy/ Pharma)
- Manage and groom team of analysts
- Design research assignments with clients, and manage and guide its delivery internally
- As Industry lead, you will design innovative research products (applicable to your industry) which can deliver significant value to procurement stakeholders
- The role will very likely involve overseas travel
Reporting structure :
- He/she would directly report to the Research Manager
