GenY Medium, an angel funded, rapidly growing digital media marketing firm is looking for a senior Human resources superstar to take on the role of General Manager - HR.  GenY Medium has over a short period of time, established itself as a leading provider of digital marketing services, specializing in social media marketing. The company now has close to 45 employees, most from reputed schools in India and rich professional experiences. GenY Medium has several national brands as its clients, including Max Bupa & Cigna, Health Care At Home (Healthcare), Goli Vada Pav and Creyate - Arvind, Sobha Developers, Ardente (Real Estate) and NIIT, Aakash (education) amongst others.   Roles and Responsibilities:   - This person will enable our growth plans by leading recruitment efforts from the front. They will own induction and training of new employees with help from other members in HR team and also the broader functional teams.  - They will ensure all HR processes are implemented completely. They will oversee leave management, payroll, employee appraisals and own all employee engagement programs.  - This is a senior level role and reports directly to the Head of Operations. The role will become stronger with more number of people reporting as the company progresses ahead.   Desirable skills & personality traits :   - Above all, the applicant should be entrepreneurial in nature, and should be able to find solutions to gaps in talent mapping, resource allocation challenges and also developmental needs of a young organization. A long term association with GenY Medium would be essential for this role.  - They need to have good amount of experience across different HR functions - recruitment, induction, payroll, performance metrics, training and development etc. Someone who has worked independently and preferably in a start-up will be a great fit.  - We are looking at candidates who are good with people, display maturity while dealing with colleagues, and are great at multi-tasking. Given that we are a start-up, we would expect the individual to take on pressures of deadlines sportingly.   Other qualifications and experience requirements are:   Education: Good educational background with training in HR.  Experience: Relevant experience in HR functions is preferred. Understanding of organizational structures, payroll processes, Human resource management systems is a must.  Communication Skills: Good communication skills, both written and verbal is a must.  Compensation:   - Compensation would be modest compared to industry average (Rs. 5 lakh p.a. to Rs. 6 lakh p.a. CTC).
