Summary of Role / Profile:  Focus of the Function:  Partner with regional and global clients to provide advisory services in Finance and Accounting  Why does this job exist:  Growth - to build the F&A Consulting Practice in AUS  How does the role add value:  By providing Genpact demonstrable depth in F&A Consulting - helping win new deals, coach and mentor existing account teams to move along the service value chain, provide consulting depth to customers in the F&A space  How is this role unique from others:  Ability to seamlessly blend consulting (consultative skills, tight project management) and operational (practice know-how on industry F&A processes, analytics) skills and be accountable for the results  Who are the key relationships for this role:  Regional and Global engagements   What are the minimum prior qualifications to be an applicant for this role:  CPA/CA /MBA   What are the key initiatives & challenges facing this role in the next six months to three years:   - Building a core book of CFO Transformation relationships and revenue stream within the next 6-9 months  - Our services will be execution oriented and drive performance improvement goals  - Service will span performance drivers across strategy, tactical execution, and operations to create a unique value proposition for the customer  Specific competences ( Essential)  - Excellent communication - verbal and written   - Strong Presentation skills  - Consultative selling expertise  - Creative thinking/innovative mindset  - Strong business acumen and understanding of business issues across multiple focus sectors   - Ability to engage senior client management on offerings, emerging issues in focus sectors, lead project scope discussions and provide insightful recommendations Understand F&A spectrum  - Deep knowledge across the Finance function, including Controllership, FP&A, Performance Management, and Treasury within Financial Services firms  - Team leadership and development  - Solution development and adaptation   Specific competences (Desirable)  - Judgement  - Personal effectiveness  Key Roles and Responsibilities Knowledge, Experience, Education External & internal contacts  - To bring industry knowledge, world class capabilities, innovation and cutting-edge technology to our clients along the F&A spectrum to help them raise their performance to new heights.  - Partner with the team to deliver our key service line:  Target Operating Model design and deployment  End State Organization Model Design  End State Global Process Design  Inclusion of digital technology into core F&A related solutions  - Straddle multiple roles involved in building a consulting practice including business development, client relationship management, institutionalization of systems and processes, team building, mentorship, and project oversight  - Develop high growth org - more substantial contribution to practice and IP creation  - Enterprise Performance Management Tool Implementation  - Develop industry leading practice - becomes newsworthy among Indian providers  - Represent the practice in public forum; conceptualize and develop thought leading content  - TOM advisory work, process design and improvement work (controllership functions / FP&A)  - Contribute to developing and executing on the domestic and global strategy for the consulting practice  - To be able to deliver potential solutions along procurement strategies, operational excellence, process optimization, managing ERP related processes  - To harness extensive knowledge combined with an integrated suite of methods, people and assets to deliver sustainable long term solutions  - To ensure process excellence for key usage scenarios ranging from business diagnostic, organization design, business process design, re-engineering and management to system implementation  - Focus on market development, unique execution frameworks, bundling of technology & process to accelerate strategy execution  Essential   - MBA / CA / CPA with 8 - 10 years domain experience + consulting experience  - Preferably should have worked in controller group for a Mid to Large size bank, Insurance company, and/or Capital Markets firm  - Banking Regulatory Environment Understanding especially on reporting side  - Worked on assignments in the CFO/Controller group in Banks/Financial Services companies  - Prior solutioning and consulting experience   - Global perspective and understanding of business marketplace  - Project Management Skills  - Ability to develop and apply creative, workable solutions to project-related issues  - GBS and Outsourcing advisory exp.   - External: Client Leadership  - Internal: Sales/BD/Lead Solution Architects/Practice Leaders/Business Leaders/Commercial Proposals
