Summary of Role / Profile :  Focus of the Function :   - Working with business development resources, develop and deliver solutions including but not limited to specific analytic projects, solution IDs, pilots, analytic centres of excellence, etc.   - Responsible for quality and timeliness of deliverables, and client satisfaction. Works closely with analytic delivery team, and is the consultative face of Genpact to the client. Builds solutions, presents major findings, and works directly with client business owners and CXO levels for ongoing penetration and cross selling.  There are 3 areas that this role will focus on :  - Conceptualize and develop solutions that are relevant to the FMCG & Retail clients across sub areas such as, research, sales analytics, marketing analytics, pricing etc.   - Develop a team that can execute high end analytics projects on a project basis. The team will comprise consultants in India as well as onshore locations  - Support the business development process through good responses to RFP, presentations to customers on our value proposition and developing compelling client related solutions  The role would be interacting extensively with 3 other roles within the organization :  - Sales team for targeting new customers  - Other verticals in Analytics to offer new solutions to existing customers  - Operations teams to access technical expertise for building out solutions  Why does this job exist : Front office analytic deliverables/solutions require a direct and more senior level Genpact interface to ensure high quality solutions creation and delivery, and to be the interpreter for Genpact offshore analysts to the client, and client direction back to the offshore teams.  How is this role unique from others : Hands on solutions creditability from both prior direct vertical experience, and current deliverables. This role will be key to developing innovative solutions and consulting capabilities within our team. This role will build a highly domain intensive team that can front end new client conversations, understand their need and translate them into solutions. Then use these experiences in building IP that can be leveraged across multiple customers.  Who are the key relationships for this role : Alignment with CPG / Retail vertical teams, Analytics team, NPS team and appropriate SEP teams. the role will be required to work extensively with the business development and operations team. There will be significant interactions with other COEs within Genpact  What are the minimum prior qualifications to be an applicant for this role :   - Direct experience with the CPG / Retail Analytics vertical. Ideal would be an individual who has worked within a CPG manufacturer with hands on responsibility for brand management, sales operations, TPM/TPO or analytic deliverables and subsequent role as a solutions, or operational lead with a consulting or process solutions factor.  What are the key initiatives & challenges facing this role in the next six months to three years :   - Contributing to the ongoing development and adaptation of the Genpact suite of analytic, data integration/utilization, and new initiative deliverables. Mining and building a contact list within target accounts. Participation in industry associations and conferences (ideally as a presenter, with a current client). Active pipeline development support (or direct building), participation in relevant (and successful) RFPs  Specific Competencies (Essential) :  - Hands-on experience in Sales & marketing analytics such as Market Mix Modelling, Trade promo optimization, price elasticity, assortment analytics, campaign analytics  - Well developed business development/consultative selling skills  - Knowledge of business process solutions application for both analytics and finance and accounting sub-processes Specific competences (Desirable)  - Experience, familiarity with enterprise accounting applications (order entry, billing, deduction and settlement management, TPM/TPO).  - Exposure to advanced analytic methodologies used by CPG / Retail organizations like machine learning  - Ability to create products and solutions leveraging partners, products or acquisitions  - Ability to create offshore and onshore solutions for clients  - Ability to work through RFP/ RFQ process and develop winning solutions  - Ability to work through complex structure and ambiguity.  Key Roles and Responsibilities :  - Knowledge, Experience, Education External & internal contacts  - Genpact solution specialist for analytic, data and new initiative client needs.  - Booking and pipeline development achievement  - Continuous research on best practice within verticals and feedback to Genpact CPG, Analytics, NPS, and other teams for continuous improvement.  - Ability to apply Analytics to Business Strategy   - Ability to interact and build relations with senior management and key stakeholders:   - Ability to independently manage client relationships and build synergy between the Client and the delivery organization to ensure delivery of tangible benefits to clients.   - Knowledge of Retail Industry and market dynamics.   - Strong facilitation, presentation and negotiation skills (internal & external)   Essential :  - Hands on past experience with analytics, brand marketing, etc.  - 10+ years progressive experience   - Consultative solutions/commercial skills  - Business or technical degree  Desirable :  - Consulting background  - ERP experience, provider or client side   - External  - Client prospects  - Industry Associations  - Application providers/potential partners  - Internal  - CPG Vertical team  - Analytics team  - NPS Team  - Cross functional BD leads for key verticals and processes.
