This is regarding a job opportunity with one of the leading FMCG in company industry for the position of GM- Trade Marketing based in Ahmedabad.

Designation: General Manager- Trade Marketing

Location: Ahmedabad

Reporting to: Head of Sales

Job Responsibilities:

- To plan annual state-wise month wise BTL activities for each brand and category.

- To prepare SP/OSP Activity budgets for every financial year well in advance and seek approval of the SP/OSP budgets from the management.

- To get execution of all the activities planned month wise is each state through dedicated SP team by preparing proposals and getting the same approved by Finance department and the Directors. Roll out activities at ground level after approval.

- Communicate with various departments for required inputs and information.

- Maintain activity spends as per the planned budgets limits and submit monthly report of actual spends to the finance and accounts teams.

- Supervise the working of Trade Marketing Team in each state through their weekly and monthly plans.

- Identifying promotional needs for each market keeping pace with market trends and competitor activities.

- To create awareness of GTPPL Brands in the market by doing on ground activities.

- Tracking competitor market share, volumes, activities and price structure to combat competition.

- Recruit, induct, Train and retain Trade marketing Team members per market requirements.

- Visit Markets regularly to get updates and report the same to the Directors.

- Keep strict vigil on all costs for optimum utilisation of each rupee spend on SP/OSP Activities.

- Liaison with vendors for all quality execution of the activities.

- Liaison with other FMCG companies for cross promotions suited best for GTPPL Brands.

- Participation in all Trade Fairs and Exhibitions to promote GTPPL Brands.

- Close co-ordination with sales team for keeping pace with the market.

- Training agency promoters regularly through branch Trade Marketing Team.

- Checking the quality and quantum of each and every SP activity.

- To co-ordinate with vendors for procurement of articles required for the activities.

- Timely Release of Job orders and Purchase Orders to vendors.

- Re-utilization of all promotional material from time to time.

- Quarterly review of all Trade Marketing activities for their efficacy. Taking corrective measures to improve the same.

- Clearance of all vendor bills within stipulated time frame after thorough checking of the same.

- Getting reconciliation of all articles/schemes from Trade marketing Team and submission of compliance report to Finance Department for each quarter to complete the audit procedures.

- Reviewing performance of each team members on regular basis and train them for further development.

- Annual Budget cum utilization report to Finance department after completion of the financial year.
