General Manager/Senior Manager - HR Legal Compliance (10-15 yrs)

Role :

- To look after and attend to the Human Resource and labour compliance related matters of the organisation.

Job Profile :

The following should be the profile of the eligible Candidate for the purpose of further evaluation :

- Has attended to labour litigations arising out of termination, suspension, superannuation, reinstatement, dismissal due to improper conduct and disciplinary matters before the Regional Labour Commissioner, Labour Court, Industrial Tribunal, High Court and Supreme Court.

- Has interacted and briefed Senior Counsels and Partners of Law firms on labour laws and labour related compliances and sought their opinion in the matter.

- Has drafted show cause notices to employees, prepared charge sheet against employees, replied to the Statutory notices issued by the Regional Labour Commissioner, issued notices to employees for de-reliction of duty and disciplinary action.

- Has drafted written representations and represented the stand of the employer before the Regional Labour Commissioner.

- Has prepared and finalised Affidavits, Rejoinders, Petitions, Appeals, Applications and other documents to be filed before the Tribunal and Courts of law.

- Has personally attended to inquiries and investigations carried out against the employee as the representative of the management or in the capacity of the Inquiry Officer.

- Have supplied information, furnished documents, given statements and personally appeared before the Authorities, Labour Departments, pursuant to a complaint filed by the employee.

- Has advised the Company on applicability of the labour laws and labour compliances applicable to the Company pertaining to PF, ESIC, P.Tax, Contract Labour Abolition Act, Shop Act, Guard Board Act etc and other applicable statutes and regulations.

- Has the ability to independently correspond with the Department/Authorities and work under minimal supervision.

- Has the ability and the tact to handle Industrial relations and build bridges of trust and hormonial relationship between the management and the staff.
