Job Summary

To build and maintain a high performance sales organization to effectively achieve business objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

SALES:

- Responsible for revenue generation across products and regions and ensure yields across products through Regional / Zonal Managers.

- Provide supervision through field visits, observations and measurement of results to include performance appraisals and salary reviews.

- Ensure quality of distributor activities and Area Sales managers across region

- Implementation of Billing targets at all India level

- Keep a tab on arithmetic calculations, pricing structures, gross margin and profitability

- Responsible for Marketing and Sales to achieve top line market share and achieve revenue and brand objectives

- Prepare Business Plan on business design, structure, process and operating plan and financial model

- Strategize and plan the sales process management, forecasting, pricing, key account management, expenses, profitability, new product development, market research and brand strategy.

- Periodically review distributor performance through Regional/Zonal Managers and check on gaps in performance and seek reasons and actionable steps to close the gaps.

- Conduct effective and accurate market research and apply this information to increase market share

- Conduct regular meeting with distributors and sales team to discuss target status, product training and sales strategy

- Monitor and analyze all marketing and sales reports received from regional office and also distributor feedback

- Coordinate with administration, commercial and production departments to ensure timely orders, and smooth function of action in the system.

- Update management on business process and operating plan and financial model and profitability

MARKETING JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design, implement, and facilitate annual marketing and sales plan for the company.

- Responsible for overall branding & ATL/BTL activities.

- Support and facilitate development and implementation of marketing and sales plans.

- Plan and administer the company's Marketing and Sales budget and keep cost in control.

- Develop promotional material and distribution

- Responsible for the Public relations efforts, Providing necessary strategic inputs and marketing support to achieve the same.

- Manage day to day activity with PR, press and marketing communications agencies

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum Experience: At least 16 years of sales experience with at least 5 years of experience in Management at national level.

1. Exposure to brand management, a distinct advantage

2. Experience and success in recruiting and retaining a high performance sales team and a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse sales team.

3. Demonstrated ability to achieve sales plans.

4. Proven business analysis and judgement with the ability to proactively manage business and P&L to meet objectives.

5. Demonstrated ability to professionally develop and coach team members.

6. Strategy development, project management, problem solving, and change management skills.

7. Solid understanding of personal care products, requirements and issues.

8. Exceptional negotiation skills.

9. Ability to build positive working relationships, both internally and externally.

10. Excellent market knowledge.

11. Ability to effectively present information and negotiate with all levels of management including CEO, COO.

12. Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.

13. Business related computer skills

Physical Requirements:

Ability to travel as required.

Salary offered: 20 - 25 LPA
