Our client, Part of one of the largest dealership groups in India, is looking for the right candidate for the position of General Manager, Sales. Said position is to handle operations spread across 10+ sales outlets in Karnataka with Headquarters in Bangalore.  Number of position: 1  Location: Bangalore  Reporting To: Business Head  Responsibilities  - GM Sales will be responsible for achieving the targets across parameters including Volumes, Market Share, Profitability, Customer satisfaction and team productivity  - He will establish benchmark sales excellence model in customer acquisition, retention, contribution & satisfaction and drive organizational growth  - He will measure, monitor and improve performance outcomes across Outlet, Activity wise, LOB wise and customer segment wise in line with business plan  - GM-Sales will provide inputs for preparation of business plan and develop sales strategy to implement the business plan  - He will set up a robust lead management process to improve market coverage, conversion rate and time  - He will seamlessly work with cross functional teams & ensure alignment with business objectives  - He will mentor, monitor, recognize and reward the sales team to maximize sales productivity and profitability  - He will be responsible for optimal utilization of manpower, set scientific targets and support with achievement plan  - He will facilitate competency development of sales team across hierarchy   - Responsible for timely and effective communication and coordination with Manufacturer's team and enjoy their trust and confidence  - He will ensure validation of all customers- touchpoints through voice of customer to understand the ground realities and take corrective measures to improve customer delight   - Analysing latest market trends & competition strategy and providing critical inputs to management to aid decision making to expand market share as well as ensuring profitability  - Establishing credit controls to ensure timely collection of receivables from all the stakeholders  Requisites  - The candidate should be in the age group of 35 to 45 with 10 - 20 years of experience of which at least 5 years of experience in senior management  - Should have experience in leading large teams with a high level of written and oral communication, analytical & leadership skills with a strong focus on sales and profitability  - Engineer with MBA will be preferred  Compensation  - CTC will have both fixed and variable components. Total compensation will be in the range of 12 to 15 lacs per annum including performance linked variable component  - Compensation will not be a limiting factor for deserving candidates
