GM (R&D)

Role: The incumbent is responsible for the R&D centre at our client which is being transformed to become the core driver of their growth and ambitions of having holistic food and beverage portfolio in India as well as development of Global Portfolio Strategies as they start driving greater Global Footprints. The Vision is to retain their dominant position in the Foods business through R&D. Will report to the Director-R&D and lead a team of over 30 R&D professionals

Considering their ambitious goals, they are investing largely on creating a full fledged R&D Centre, with higher core competence, stronger and advanced state of technological tools and processes which will focus on establishing a very core value of the company - INNOVATION!

GM (R&D) will lead and execute the R&D transformation road map

KRAs

- Lead & execute the Innovation centre Road Map - plan and build the Long-Term technical Capabilities & infrastructure needed within Innovation Organization

- Engage with consultants, Innovation team, CMD and other key stakeholders in driving the agenda

- Periodic update of R&D transformation progress to management

Food Flavor & Ingredient and their interactions

Candidate Profile: Degree (B.Tech /M.Tech) in Food Technology/ Dairy Technology with 15-30 years relevant global / local experience in R&D and product development and process role in Foods / Beverages / Dairy / Flavours /Pulp / Concentrates organisations. Mult-industry experience is desirable. Must have Strong product development skills in Dairy and Food Industry and deep system and process knowledge of state- of-the-art R&D Centres
