Profile of General Manager - Textile and Fibre

- Develop and implement marketing plans for the Company's products for the Textile and Fibre segments in order to meet established sales or market share targets.

- Conducting market research, oversee product development and design, set prices; launch new products; plan marketing campaigns and monitor sales performance.

- Manage preparation of promotional material such as brochures, story boards, technical leaflets and newsletters.

- Contribute to business planning at the executive level to develop an overall marketing strategy that is consistent with the organisation's overall mission, vision, and long-term objectives.

- Monitor, analyse, and evaluate market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities; adjust marketing strategy and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions.

- Strengthen marketing and technical service organisation by appointing new personnel as per need.

- Strengthen marketing network by appointing new distributors as required.

- Liaise with other functional and operational area managers (particularly in sales, customer service, production, research and development) to ensure that marketing strategies and activities are integrated with other parts of the business and align with the overall corporate objectives.

- Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of marketing professionals to achieve established sales and profit goals.

- Guide the marketing and sales team to achieve set targets.

- Conduct technical trials together with technical service team as and when required in order establish satisfactory performance of products.

- Previous experience in a similar role with all India responsibility is important. Technical qualification in Textile or Fibre technology is a must
