Role : General Manager - Manufacturing Excellence - Auto Ancillary

Purpose :

- To optimize all the processes in the plant to improve systems for better output and productivity and to focus on upgrading the skill of people at all levels.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities :

- Lead transformation of people and processes to achieve the best in class performance among 14 plants

- Analysis of Gap w.r.t the aspiration and bridge the gap as per radar covering all the parameters like Safety Standards, OEE, process parameters, Cost, Environment, Energy consumption, Maintenance practices and cost. Monitoring of Cpk value

- Conduct performance evaluation of departments and synchronize processes

- To carry out the process related skill gap analysis together with plant training coordinator of concerned employees and execute targeted training

- Enhance process related skills of employees in different department

- Develop SOPs and standard templates for all the critical and non-critical activities in various functions which can impact the business

- Develop a long term strategy for achieving excellence.

- Quantitative analysis of losses in all departments

- Develop a opportunity cost matrix for all the dept.

- Improvement in the system to gain on productivity and MTBF. Reduce MTTR.

- Hands on experience in Project drive (YB/GB/BB)

- Equipment Planning, Plant machinery Budgeting and Procurement, Establishment of manufacturing equipment. Industrialisation of new/change product, Preparation of work instruction, PFMEA and control plans

- Lean Transformation expertise and guidance through the development, documentation, implementation, and validation of Lean/ACE applications. Lead a variety of cost impact projects to reduce waste among production

- Capacity planning and process engineering

- Setup reduction and IE projects to reduce optimize man, material and cycle time
