Industry :   The candidate must be from Construction or Solar industry only.  Proven experience of sourcing from the Iron & Steel Industry, specifically cold-rolled steel, and fastening components.   Established vendor contacts across the country to cater to various module mounting projects.   Job Description :   - Overall Project Procurement and Supply Chain Management  - Analysis and comparison of Quotes received.  - Contract Negotiation with Suppliers.   - Drafting of Contract and issuance of Contract  - Contract Administration.  - Accountable for Creation of Request for Quotation document and release of order for procurement  a) Inviting quotes from vendors   b) Negotiation with vendors   c) BOQ Wise Analysis of quotes received and coordination with various departments for finalizing Purchase Order  d) Achievement of Project cost target  - Contract Management & Administration  a) Contract creation on the basis of agreed terms  b) Contract approval from various departments such as Engineering, Legal, and Finance  c) Contract administration: - Monitoring the execution of the contract  d) Issuance of LC to suppliers  - Liaison with government agencies (MNRE)  a) Freight optimization through negotiation with forwarders and transporters  b) Ensure on time delivery  - Development of new vendors and rate negotiations as per the cost target of the organization  a) New vendor identification  b) Approval of new vendors  c) Relationship development with vendors  Education Criteria: B.Tech/B.E/Diploma in Materials Management.
