General Manager - Legal - F&B/FMCG

Litigation, general non litigation & contracts proficiency to give business the edge by pre-empting its needs [foolproof agreements etc]

Responsible for litigation, legal notices, keep records of all licenses & compliances and all litigation matters

Support filing of cases & defend cases filed against Company - criminal & Civil

Handle of S/138 cases, consumer case notices, recovery, defamation, attend court & liaison with advocates

Familiar with FSSAI, Drug adulteration laws, terms of sales deeds etc

Well networked with court & government authorities; manage all external legal interface; handle senior counsel

Should have hands on experience in domestic business & not only advisory role

Experience in IPR and trademarks preferred

Handle situations in a not very structured set-up; capable of setting up systems & taking it forward

From F&B, FMCG or large corporate handling manufacturing compliances

Polished personality, great communicator, have courage of conviction, UPDATED LEGAL KNOWLEDGE, handle team
