General Manager - HR Shared Services - IT (10-12 yrs)

Position summary:

- Responsible for leading, guiding and monitoring Data Analytics, and HR Shared Service operations with the objective of ensuring timely periodic closure of shared service activities as per process, policy & budget. Identifies improvement initiatives across HR.

- Responsible for streamlining HR operations. Manages the operational transactions of - employee data management, payroll management, on-boarding, benefits administration and information center management. Drives process improvements to increase operational efficiency.

- Defines and implements framework, methodology and metrics for workforce analytics based on interaction with internal stakeholders. Drives execution of benefits policies and adherence to regulatory requirements..

Major Responsibilities:

- Identifies areas for process improvements. Define HR Shared Service structure to drive achievement of HR Shared Service vision

- Define framework, methodology and metrics for workforce analytics using existing tools (such as Prism, SFDC) and knowledge sharing; Drive discussions with internal stakeholders to understand current needs and potential areas for analytics to support business decisions;

- Prepares road-map for migration of HR processes for other BUs and Regions.

- Defines processes and frameworks for operational transactions.

- Facilitates audit for HR function. Drives discussions with vendors handling processes like payroll, to identify issues and take corrective action.

- Leads and guides team on areas within HR Operations.

- Tactical role which provides a marked contribution to defining the direction of new processes, standards or operational plans based upon business strategy, with a significant mid term impact on business unit overall results.

- Self-sufficient, capable of identifying key issues and priorities and focusing on these to deliver required results with minimal direction and supervision. Identifies problems and significantly improves, changes or adapts existing method and techniques.
