Oversees all aspects of Management in accordance with Hotel's vision and mission statement,including maximization of financial performance, guest satisfaction, and staff development within established quality standards.  - Develops accurate and aggressive long and short range financial objectives.General Manager would also be required to manage profitability and guest satisfaction measures. Responsible for managing all facets of the business in the best interest of the Owner and the brand.  - Prepares financial reports for management that clearly explain operational effectiveness, trends and variances.  - Develop annual operating budgets and providing fiscal direction to the assigned units.  	 - Monitoring cost controls on a regular basis   - Responsible for the hiring, retention, succession planning, training and discipline of all hotel staff.   - Establishes and maintains a proactive human resource function to ensure employee motivation, training and development.  - Creates an operating environment that assures consistent guest satisfaction. Monitors the performance of the hotel through verification and analysis of guest satisfaction systems and financial reports.   - Maintains product and service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations and investigating complaints. Initiates corrective action.  - Executes marketing, sales, and operational activities, producing results that meet or exceed the hotel's business plan  - Ensures good safety practices of employees and guests.  - Understands the government regulations affecting hotel?s operations, ensuring hotel is operated in compliance with all applicable laws, ordinances, regulations, and requirements of any federal, state or municipal authority.  - Deals with the general public, customers, employees, and government officials with tact and courtesy  Qualification:  - Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent. Management Degree an advantage. 15-20 years of experience of which last 10 years should be in similar role with reputed chain/brand.  - Possess strong commercial acumen, with experience in increasing profitability  - Experience managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting results in a sizeable property/hotel chain.  - Excellent leadership skills  - Exceptional communication skills  - In-depth knowledge of the hotel/leisure/service sector  Language Skills: Fluency in Arabic and English
