Role summary:
It is a senior leadership role to set up the Commercial business right from the beginning . The role entails significant responsibilities in key functional areas like strategic planning, execution review, nurturing relationships, managing & developing people, delivering profit margins, ensuring cost controls, understanding consumer behaviour, influencing consumer experience and develop the sales system.
Role description :
- Lead a team of People Managers & Business Managers to achieve & exceed business expectations.
- Set objectives & provide clear directions for the team to take it forward.
- Drive the sales strategy, increase revenue and improve customer relationships.
- Understand market trends & comparative analysis of these trends to formulate effective way forward.
- Review the progress of team and take necessary course corrections to achieve desired results.
- Focus on driving building blocks towards the desired output.
- Build strategic partnerships with all key customers and channel partners, educating current and potential channels on all opportunities to build brand awareness and eventually business.
- Drive business width & depth comprehensively.
- Performance appraisals of the team to identify the key areas of development.
- Build a culture of collaboration & cohesion.
- Lead by example & build positivity in the team.
Functional Linkages & Scope:
Marketing : High, Very close working on consumer understanding and market feedback. Inputs in developing campaigns
-Strategy : Medium, close working on new business ideas, channels and opportunities, sales systems, R&R opportunities
HR : Medium, Training & Development of the team
Finance : Medium, cost controls
