We are looking out for Female candidate for General Accounting Role, for one of our clients.

The General Accounting function will oversee and ensure compliance of the ACS close process and deliver key metrics and analysis.

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the General Accounting Manager will be:

- Lead and manage the recruitment, development, reward, recognition and performance of the GA team.

- Build effective working relationships with other Center of Technical Accounting Teams, Finance business partnership teams and co-source partner.

- Maintain/monitor policies and procedures for the GA process; design and continuously improve processes focusing on simplification, standardization, quality improvement and cost minimization; evaluate best practices and be best practice sponsor.

- Refine and monitor CoE Key Performance Indicators: refine key performance indicators; measure performance using reports against defined metrics, Service Level Agreements and Statement of Works; initiate and review cost/benefit analysis of activities that may enhance this process.

- Build effective working relationships with other COE Teams, Finance business partnership teams and co-source partner.

- Refine key performance indicators; measure performance using reports against defined metrics, Service Level Agreements and Statement of Works; initiate and review cost/benefit analysis of activities that may enhance this process.

- Use exception reporting and root cause analysis to identify issues and areas for improvement; liaise with Business Partners and Business Managers to drive improvement.

- Maintain policies and procedures in line with Honeywell established policies for the procure to pay processes; continuously improve process design focusing on simplification, standardization, quality improvement and cost minimization; evaluate best practices with global peers and become best practice sponsor.

- Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledgers, including the recording of financial transactions, fixed assets, tax compliance, banking and cash management.

- Analyse and control data leading to the close off for the business results to agreed reporting periods.

- Participate in the implementation of new businesses into the Center of Technical Accounting and ensure 2009 go-lives are stabilized within 3 months of the go-live date.

- Ensure relevant GAAP, Honeywell accounting policies and Center of Technical Accounting procedures are adhered to.

- Participate in external and internal audits, and ensure timely and qualitative closure of remedial actions.

- Participate in process improvement reviews and projects.

- Report on and resolve non-compliance issues.

- Liaison with advisors, external audit and tax authorities.

Skills Required:

- People management

- Excellent conflict management skills

- Preferred candidate has experience in large multinational environment

- Strong communicator on all levels

- Process orientated with excellent problem solving skills

- Strong technical and analytical skills

- Knowledge of SAP or other large ERP systems

- Familiar with Sarbanes Oxley and Six Sigma

Experience / Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant with an excellent academic record with a minimum of 10 years post qualification experience.

- Experience of SAP
