When you join our team, you become part of a stimulating work environment with vast opportunities to sharpen your skills and embrace new leadership challenges.   Please note that candidates for this role will not be eligible for transfers internally to other GE businesses.  Designation : IT Project Manager   Role Summary/Purpose - Handle application projects and releases in capacity of a IT Business Analyst and also IT Project Manager wherever needed  Essential Responsibilities   - Manage call center application projects through all SDLC phases from project initiation to implementation   - Work with business teams and IT development teams to implement technology solutions that meet project objectives   - Drive/lead discussions on Business Requirements, Design and Testing phases with both business and IT Development team   - Drive resolution of issues in a timely manner so project timeline is not impacted   - Communicate regular project status to all stakeholders   - Accountable for delivery of IT Retail Finance Operations/Collections projects per schedule and within budget   - Work with business teams to shape business requirements and provide ongoing communication throughout project execution   - Lead effort with IT and business team members through each stage of the software development life cycle   - Function independently in a project management capacity and address issues to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget   - Plan and communicate with business, IT Project Manager, and other key stakeholders regarding status, milestones, issue escalation and issue resolution  Qualifications/Requirements   - Bachelor's of Technology/Engineering and/or MCA   - Minimum 5 years of IT experience.   - Atleast 1 year of project management experience in Information Technology delivering application projects.   - Minimum 2 years of experience working as a IT Business Analyst   Desired Characteristics   - Minimum 2 years of experience working on projects in financial services or contact center organizations   - Good knowledge of Credit Card domain   - Experience with planning and executing full lifecycle testing of applications   - Good decision making and problem solving skills   - Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to manage expectations of the business, team members, management and external groups   - Strong attention to detail  - Proven ability to apply technology to solve business problems   - Strong understanding of programming languages, operating systems, data base systems, system architecture, networking, file access methods, custom or packaged business systems
