Please note that candidates for this role will not be eligible for transfers internally to other GE businesses.  Role Summary/Purpose Responsible for Sourcing and Supplier Risk Management of US suppliers and supporting US commodity leaders.  Essential Responsibilities   - Supplier relationship Management Program & Metric Stream Migration  - Classification & Analysis (All Payment Methods)  - Classification of data basis supplier description for the spend data.  - Floating RFPs, RFQ's & RFI's to drive deflation savings project for various commodities and services.  - Drive e-Auctions and Competitive bidding.  - Analysis of quotes provided in response to the RFQs and negotiations with suppliers.  - Cost breakdown Analysis, Facilitation of contracts & Adhoc Reporting (Contracts Auditing, UNSPSC wise, and Supplier.  - Gate keeping to ensure realization of contracted savings.  - Publishing of Sourcing Commodity leaders SCL's Savings Project Tracker & Summary YTD & Carryovers report  - Monitoring and Reporting of supplier migration to Metric Stream per scheduled Tranches  - Training Supplier Managers to complete Sourcing Requests  - Coordinate Q/A and resolve escalations.  - Collect Supplier information for on boarding process & provide to Supplier Registration Leads - Approve Sourcing.  - Coordinate with SM to complete IRS  - Validate IRS and review with Functional Specialists  - Review IRS with Functional Leads of (COB, Compliance and Reputational), IT, and approve IRS.  - Re-assignments of Metric Stream Assessments  Qualifications/Requirements   - Bachelor's or Post Gradudate degree in Commerce  - Minimum of 3-4 years' experience in a leadership sourcing/procurement role supporting US sourcing and experience  - Experience with Microsoft Suite including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook or comparable software application.  - Experience and knowledge of ERP tools  - Excellent written and spoken English language communication skills  Desired Characteristics   - Demonstrated experience in negotiation, preparation and review /approval of Request for proposals and contracts for goods and services.  - Experience Demonstrated experience in negotiation, preparation and review /approval of Request for proposals and contracts for goods and services.  - Experience working with automated procurement systems or financial accounting systems  Shift timings 5 pm to 2 am IST
