Position Title: Analyst - Operations Analytics

Role Summary/Purpose:

- As a Reporting Analyst you will have the opportunity to work on various business initiatives that contribute to GECF-Americas, Retail Finance's growth and productivity objectives. This role enables you to work directly with the business in various reporting needs.

- You will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams and leverage state of the art tools (viz., SAS, BI).

Essential Responsibilities:

- Understand requirements and create reports based on ad-hoc requests.

- Maintain existing reports by ensuring accuracy & timely delivery.

- Interpret reports & provide business insights.

- Liaise with teams (local & remote) to gather requirements & build reports.

- Automate reports.

- Create dashboards/presentations to be reviewed with Senior Leadership

- Document Processes

- Develop cross-functional business dashboards - by gathering requirements, seeking management feedback, mapping data source/process mapping, building dashboards.

- Strong Process Management Skills

- Ability to manage timelines and meet or exceed targets

- Ability to troubleshoot/work through roadblocks, come up with options/recommendations to mitigate

- Able to work with minimal direction but not afraid to ask questions when appropriate

- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- 1-2 years of experience in Reporting domain

- 1-2 years of hands-on expertise in SAS coding.

- Working experience with Microsoft suite of tools (viz., Excel, PowerPoint)

- Strong Team Player in cross-functional environment.

- Strong written/oral communication skills.

- Able to work hours that compliment US, not necessarily match but have some degree of overlap.

- Graduate in any discipline.

Desired Characteristics:

- Exposure to consumer finance/credit card domain

- Experience working with reports/analysis for Customer Service, Collections or Risk

- Good understanding of various Operations processes.

- Work experience in a US financial institution or bank.

- Graduate or Post Graduate in quantitative discipline.
