Position Title: Analyst - Marketing Analytics

Role Summary/Purpose:

- The selected candidate will be part of Analytics Center of Excellence rolling up to GE Capital RF HYD.

- The candidate would be part of a CRM Analytics team providing valuable SAS programming and analytics expertise in the area of marketing analytics.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Creating batch process for automated execution of SAS codes in UNIX environment

- Quantifying efficiency of SAS codes and improving efficiency of existing SAS codes

- Building SAS data marts as per business requirements

- Creating reports on SAS BI portal

- Maintaining comprehensive documentation of standard process for extracting data from existing databases

- Exploring existing databases and enhancing documentation on data flow and dictionaries

- Proactively communicating status of projects project owners and team members

- Actively participating in team discussions and knowledge sharing forums

- Understanding business goals and correlating job to business goals

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Strong SAS knowledge - ability to quantify efficiency of SAS codes and improve existing SAS codes.

- Good understanding of SAS BI - ability to create reports suing SAS BI

- Strong unix knowledge - ability to edit and execute SAS codes in unix platform, ability to access servers remotely using unix and transfer files across servers

- Hands on experience working with huge databases.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations

- Research or relevant experience

Desired Characteristics:

- Ability to communicate effectively projects to senior management

- Understanding of macro-economic conditions

- Good understanding of Retail cards business
