Gauge Data Solutions invites dynamic and enterprising professionals holding a PhD or MS (with peer reviewed publications) in a quantitative field, such as physics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistics, mathematics, engineering, etc., with 0-3 Years of experience in analytics domain (focus area - machine learning) to be a part of our team.

Job Title: Data Scientist

Responsibilities:

- You would be responsible for staying abreast with the latest techniques and algorithms used in data analytics and overseeing their adoption by delivery teams.

- You would be leading in house efforts in researching newer and novel analytics methodologies.

- You would be actively involved in all stages of solution delivery to the client.

- Mentoring junior staff ( 3-4 Team Members)

Essential skills required:

- An expert in any two or more of the following; machine learning, operations research, agent based modeling, game theory, statistics or similar methodologies.

- A strong experience with at least one of the following; R, Matlab, SAS, SPSS or similar packages.

- A basic knowledge of one of the following; Python, C/C++, Java.

Preferred skills:

- Experience with analyzing actual business data.

- Domain knowledge of industry verticals such as healthcare, telecom, retail, finance etc.

Minimum Educational Qualifications Required:

- PhD or MS (with peer reviewed publications) in a quantitative field, such as physics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistics, mathematics, engineering, etc.

- 0-3 Years work experience in analytics domain (focus area machine learning)
