As a Senior Manager, you will work closely with and manage engineering staff in Hyderabad Development Center to deliver the goals and objectives of the business. As a leader, you must be capable of working in a matrixed organization and coordinating delivery of multiple outcomes. You will be hands-on in terms of design, architecture and development and should be able to lead the team from front in any critical situation. As a people leader, first, and delivery manager second, you must build, inspire and lead the technical teams. As this is a shared service and center of excellence, you are expected to work with stakeholders, internal customers across the different GAP tech locations.

You will build a world class cross functional MML (Metrics, Monitoring, Logging @ enterprise level) team and engage with our business partners in Gap Tech India to drive MML initiatives and foster good working relationships. You will manage matrixed teams to deliver against team goals and objectives; define an operating model that works for multiple Network teams. You will drive the effort for adopting new technologies relevant to GAP. As part of the leadership team you would be integral to defining and shaping India GapTech's future technology vision. Your role will be to work in cross functional global environment to assess the current technology state, evaluate options, and provide a roadmap for technology investment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Drive the effort for modernizing, migrating the current monitoring and logging platform to the new and simplified industry standard tools and platform.

- Drive the effort in defining telemetry across the eco system, evangelizing across the enterprise and driving the adoption across the enterprise.

- Drive the adoption of the new tools for monitoring and logging across the enterprise.

- Responsible for the 99.99 uptime of the Monitoring & logging platform.

- Strong desire to simplify the developers debug experience by adopting and on boarding the right tools across the enterprise.

- Present possible updates, recommendations, strategic opportunities to local & US leadership.

- Develop relationships with local business leaders.

- Provide advice on a broad range of MML tools and strategies.

Capabilities & Requirements :

- Minimum 5 years experience in Engineering Leadership position, overall 12+ years of work experience.

- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field.

- Exposure to tools like Nagios, Splunk, New Relic, Data Dog, Graphite, etc; is desirable.

- Broad knowledge of staple IT technologies (e.g., operating systems, servers, virtualization, storage, software development, and their related impacts as it pertains to network resources) is desirable.

- Had worked in partnership with colleagues throughout the firm, and in leading collaborative teams to achieve common goals .

- Drove the effort in standardizing the dashboards across the ecosystem for APM and Infra monitoring along with the application specific logging.

- Hands on experience on managing operations of large scale internet-centric production environments for application or infrastructure services serving tens to millions of end users.

- Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills
