GainLine Consulting LLP is a boutique investment advisory firm with focus on both startups and middle market companies.

We provide the following services:

- Buy side/ Sell side M&A advisory to middle market companies

- Capital raise advisory (Equity and debt) to businesses from early age startups to middle market companies

- Startup mentoring for both early age and growth stage startups through our network of mentors from various sectors

- Business planning services (business plans, financial models, industry/competition research)

- Investment banking support to other boutique and bulge bracket investment banking/advisory firms on as required basis

In our formative months, we understood that obtaining 'first round of external funding'- was the biggest challenge faced by startup businesses in the current ecosystem. The journey of a startup from ideation stage to getting their name published in media, announcing their fund raise from a prominent VC fund, is full of challenges where every step should be carefully planned and executed. So, in our formative months, our initial focus was on Capital Advisory, Startup Mentoring and Business Planning services for Startups. In the past 18 months, we have successfully mentored a few amazing teams and have been fortunate enough to raise funds for some of them. Our notable transactions include:

- USD 500K Fundraise for a marketplace that assists global AEC industry in exchanging product and service leads

- USD 150K Fundraise for an IOT startup from Singapore based seed fund

- USD 200K Fundraise from US based HNIs for a full service restaurant chain based out of Bangalore

In the last 3 months, we are increasing our focus on middle market segment providing Corporate Development Advisory, M&A Advisory and Fundraising for Education, Hospitality, Healthcare and Renewable energy sectors. We are now expanding our team to focus on the middle market segment and are looking to partner with investment banking consultants who wish to work with us in an entrepreneurial capacity as Partner/ Director/ Practice Head.

Ours is a people business where efficacy of our relationships with both clients and investors determine our success rate. So, our team members are the most important assets for our business. We are are looking for motivated individuals with following attributes:

1. You should understand what being an entrepreneur means; its not about only doing your daily tasks but also finding and implementing ways to get the job done

2. You should be a very refined and smart communicator when it comes to inter-personal communication with top leadership of both clients and investors

3. Origination and execution experience of investment banking mandates

4. Strong connects in one or two sectors either on client side or investor side will be of great advantage.

Please note that this is a Co Founder role with equity sharing and no salary. This is suitable for those individuals who wish to establish their Advisory practice and are looking to partner with some like minded organisation.
