Role : HR Business Partner (Manager)

Location: East (Kolkata)

Purpose of Role :

The HR business partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management. The position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues. The successful HRBP acts as an employee champion and change agent.

Job Description talks about the key responsibility which are :

To implement and execute manpower plan requirements and ensure 100% budget vs actual

To implement retention strategies, ensure attrition for top talent is at the minimum in the BU

To direct and ensure timely and correct implementation of new policies and procedures which are in line with business goals

To develop open and transparent communication channels in the BU

To conduct timely meetings with respective business units.

To consult with line management and provide HR guidance wherever appropriate.

To manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. To conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.

To maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance. To partner with the legal department as needed/required.

To manager the PMS process for all employees of the business unit

To provide guidance and input on business unit restructuring, workforce planning and succession planning.

To identify training needs for business units and individual coaching needs and partner with L&D for implementation

Education & Work Experience :

Full time MBA in HR ( preferably from a Tier I / Tier II institute) with minimum 4+ yrs experience.
