Overview:  Works with the Sales, Sourcing, Operations, Customer Experience and Marketing teams to arrive at a detailed forecast for the organization. Ensure that all key deadlines for forecast are met. The position takes a pivotal role in driving process improvement by utilizing available tools to deliver more accurate forecast.  Key Responsibilities :   - Analyze performance data to identify business plan variances using established systems and ad-hoc problem solving;  - Project medium and long term volume estimates, using input from Sales, Operations, Experience, and Marketing to provide the system with accurate volumes to be used in budgeting;  - Keep on improvising the existing demand forecast based on deviations in the results from projections and update the stakeholders;  - Establish performance criteria by tracking the performance of product cohorts, analyzing trends and benchmarking;  - Extract, analyze and report system data to improve supply chain efficiencies  - Provide input to tech team for developing tools for forecasting and measuring performance;   - Interpret feedback for stakeholders to evaluate performance of products, processes or innovations using trend analysis and other tools;  Requirements :   Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Statistics/ Engg (preferably), Master's degree with experience in demand planning  Qualifications :   - Must possess a minimum of 6 years of related experience  - Computer Modelling: Knowledge of statistical and mathematical computer programs and modeling techniques. Ability to apply and analyze large amounts of data for developing projections and estimates  - Forecasting - Demand: Knowledge of demand forecasting techniques and inputs (e.g., business trends, seasonality, consumption patterns)  - Software Applications: Knowledge and use of technical software applications appropriate to the specific work activities   - Business Planning: Knowledge of specific supply chain capabilities, strategies, and interdependencies to perform short and long-term business planning. Ability to incorporate strengths, weaknesses, external opportunities and threats into business plan strategies and execution tasks  - Capacity Planning and Management: Knowledge of multiple levels of the supply chain used to analyze contingency points, and feedback on supplier capacities. Ability to predict suppliers' capabilities to deliver goods and services necessary based on current practice and industry trends.   - Process Improvement: Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and coordinate efforts around process improvement.
