AVP - IT Procurement

- Handle overall Technology and Telecom Procurement for the organization covering Urban and Rural branches across India, State & Regional offices and Corporate Office.

- Be part of the procurement team that falls under the Premises, Infrastructure and Procurement Department

- Will be in charge of technology procurement covering Hardware, Software, Professional services, Network and Data Centre solutions, Information Security.

- Telecom procurement covering Mobile services, Landlines and PRI's, Data cards, Audio & Video conferencing services.

- Office Board Room Audio Visual Equipment management including connectivity.

- Supporting branch roll-outs through procurement of Hardware and logistics management ensuring the delivery is seamless and on-time.

- Manage a team that looks after routine back end operations related to procurement such as Purchase Order issuance, Quotation Data base, Delivery MIS, Billing and other procurement life cycle activities

- Manage supplier partnerships and create a competitive supplier environment, conduct periodic supplier evaluation, and work jointly with Technology Infra team towards implementation of robust setup.

- Cost Optimization through monitoring of the Technology service support contracts, manpower numbers and mark- up and allied areas related to IT infra management

- Work closely with the IT software development team(Business Solutions) and the IT Tech Infrastructure team to understand requirements, budgets and delivery expectations so as to meet timelines and optimize budgets.

- Review policies and process within the IT Procurement unit, identify key risks involved, manage the approvals and deviations.

- Be updated with the technological advancements happening in the BFSI world so as to recommend adjustments in the procurement cycle to better facilitate the business needs

- Be in continuous touch with the IT team so as to develop a working relationship to ensure that expectations are understood and met.

- Basic understanding of IT hardware commonly used in the BFSI segment and exposure to rate contracts for various operational software developments, storage solutions, hosting solutions and network management would be a must.

- Experience in existing IT procurement verticals of at least 2 years and knowledge of the top vendors in this space that are supplying various IT related equipment & services to BFSI/Enterprises.
