The purpose of this position is to build capability and new service offerings around IoT and Mobility. Looking for someone with 15+ years overall IT experience out of which 5+ years are in designing and architecting Mobility and IoT solutions.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and Build IoT Service Offering

Conceptualizes and defines IoT as a service offering for our clients. This covers working with sales team and delivery teams to understand the need of digital initiatives of our clients, identifying new trends in Mobility space, defining a credible service offering to cater to the opportunities and evangelize the same via communication as well as direct interactions with the clients. Identifies the skills needed to service opportunities in IoT and Mobility space, defines a certification and training program to build the capability and complements that with appropriate collateral.

Technology Thought Leadership

Has enough expertise in several key IoT technology spaces including embedded systems, network topologies, transport protocols, cloud computing, stream processing, data management, analytics, security, identity management and application development. Is able to build an integrated view of overall landscape on which IoT or Mobility solution is deployed. Provides thought leadership inside and outside the company, via participation in various forums and communities.

Solutioning

Collaborates with clients and sales teams to understand top business problems that clients are trying to solve, architects an IoT solution that will solve the problem, is able to help build a business case to justify the ROI, builds and IoT solution prototype and works with the client through deployment of final solution. Is able to leverage experience and learnings to improve the solution.

Skills:

- Extensive experience on architecting either C++, .Net or JAVA/J2EE based solutions along with integration frameworks or SOA based middleware frameworks. Sound understanding of application deployment architecture on web servers, application servers etc.

- Exposure to (at least one of) IoT Platforms Thingworx, Telit, MS Azure IoT suite and Communication protocols understanding like XMPP, MQTT, WebSockets, CoAP, HTTP, TCP/UDP

- Experience on JQuery, HTML5/CSS3, Bootstrap, AngularJS ( Must be an expert in any two front end development technology )

- Experience in working with different application development frameworks, caching frameworks (like EhCache, JBoss Cache, etc.), leading open source technologies, etc.

- Good expertise in designing applications based on cloud platforms

- Design patterns, Architectural style and Architectural patterns, Enterprise Integration Design Patterns

- Excellent communication skills.

- Ability to handle ambiguity
