Equity research opportunity for professionals with 3-5 years industry experience – Bangalore region

Typical responsibilities:

- Supporting our London-based investment fund clients with analyses of companies in the telecoms, capital goods and industrials sectors

- Developing a deep understanding of industry thematics and trends and responding to ad-hoc client requests with supporting data and evidence

- Compiling, analysing and maintaining industry models, charts, tables and databases based on data from Bloomberg and Reuters

- Building and maintaining financial models used to forecast company earnings and valuations, starting with an in-depth review of annual reports and footnotes

- Preparing written company and industry reports in a clear and succinct manner

Qualifications and experience:

- Tertiary qualification in a finance or accounting-related disciplines: Post-graduate qualifications i.e., CFA, MBA, Masters, Chartered Accounting

- 3-5 years of experience in strategy consulting, the finance department of a telecom or industrial companies, or similar industrial experience

- Formal equity analysis experience will help but is not necessary as training will be provided

- Great communication skills, both verbal and written (writing skills will be tested)

- Clear interest in financial markets and economics

- Intellectual curiosity, drive and attention to detail
