PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Key member of the deal team responsible for investments in India & MEA

- Execution of new investments, including the origination of investment opportunities, valuation and analysis, the appraisal and due diligence of investments to be presented to the Investment Committee

- Monitoring and valuation of existing portfolio companies and well as recommendation and execution of exit strategies

- Developing and maintaining relationships with all counter parties at a working and senior management level

- Serve as a board member for the portfolio companies

MINIMUM CANDIDATES REQUIREMENTS

- A Master in Business Administration degree, graduate level studies done in English or other equivalent professional qualifications (e.g., CFA).

- Ten years of experience in private equity investing and/or at an investment bank

- Experience in private equity investing and supportive track record are preferred.

- A strong knowledge of the local/regional culture is required as well as network into the business community of the covered region

- Understanding of the economic and political trends within India & MEA

- Relationship building skills as indicated by a demonstrated ability to build effective two-way relationships within a business context and experiences that demonstrate that candidate is sensitive to client issues and diligent about follow-up on specific issues for purposes of relationship management

- Entrepreneurial and independent personal characteristics demonstrated by taking initiatives to start new projects, self-sufficiency and the ability to achieve results without frequent external direction

- Drive and energy that have resulted in accomplishing specific goals

- High degree of professionalism and leadership qualities

- Unquestioned integrity and ethical standards

- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate in a compelling manner

- Proficiency in English is required and fluency in other relevant languages would be a plus
