fourseven is expanding its core executive management team and is looking for passionate, driven and highly motivated people who are not afraid to take calculated risks and who value the upside potential of working in a start-up.

Role: VP Marketing

Location: Gurgaon

Must haves in the candidate:

1. Min qualification: MBA from a top notch college (or a good pitch as to why it is not required in your case)

2. 10+ years of experience in marketing, brand building and driving growth of a consumer product

3. 3+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience with in ecommerce, SEO, PPC, Email marketing, affiliate and social media

4. Experience in handling P&L and scaling a business

5. Experience in growing and building a team

6. Prior start-up experience will be given preference

7. Execution focus. Ability to operate in a small, budget-sensitive environment and get the job done.

Responsibilities

- Facilitate growth, sales, and marketing strategies for online and offline.

- Increase revenue generation.

- Reduce costs.

- Prepare overall marketing and advertising strategy for online, digital, social, offline, etc.

- Develop programs with quantifiable objectives to measure results.

- Implement and manage marketing budget.

- Leverage data and analytics to drive insights.

- Modify or redirect business intelligence strategy.

- Oversee and direct the efforts of the marketing team.

- Develop segmentation, competitive analysis/market intelligence, prospecting, marketing alliances, channel and market development, pricing (online/retail/consignment/wholesale), promotions, communications and budgets, strategic planning, channel effectiveness, and revenue retention and growth.

- Oversee the development of new web/mobile/channel features.

- Create marketing and web development road-map.

- Develop and measure key metrics around the business including user acquisition, conversion rates, lifetime value, engagement rates, satisfaction and repeat purchase rates.

Requirements of the role

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, unstructured start-up environment

- Mature, yet hungry, driven, highly-motivated, self-starter and creative

- Naturally analytical, numbers driven, thinker, big-picture view

- Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts and best practices

- Previous experience in a similar digital marketing role

- Ability to work well with a small team and various external agencies

- Excellent communication skills

- Proactive can-do attitude with a passion for excellence

This role is designed for an individual who wants to hit the ground running and make a huge impact from day one. For the right candidate, the growth path is toward even greater responsibilities including the potential to grow into a CMO / Co-founder. The overall compensation package will be competitive with a high upside opportunity through equity - as the package will be a mix of equity and salary.
