Founder Staff - Strategy & Operations - IIM's Only, From Top Consulting Firms Only.  Job Descriptions Founder Staff - Strategy & Ops Description:   The Founder Staff - Strategy & Ops (S&O) role is a critical role, where the candidate will be directly working with the CEO and COO to strategize and operationalize, various crossfunctional initiatives.   This role will involve working on several diverse projects, such as - market entry strategy in new geographies, building teams and recruiting from scratch, creating a marketing road-map, driving business development, closing deals and locking in partnerships, driving new product development, etc.   The candidate will receive incredible exposure to all aspects of running and expanding a business and will be provided with immense responsibility for critical initiatives. Background: The ideal candidate must be an alum from a prestigious management consulting firm with 2 - 4 years of consulting experience.  They must have an MBA from a top tier business school in India or abroad, and/or an advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as engineering, statistics, mathematics, etc. Prior work experience abroad or significant international exposure will also be a strong advantage.   Prior experience in operating roles or project management roles will be a strong advantage. Exposure to a startup, or some startup experience is preferred but not required.   The Founder Staff - S&O role is an incredibly hands-on execution role, and therefore the candidate must be excited about getting their feet wet and hands dirty and diving into executing solutions, and not merely strategizing about them.   They must also be comfortable with travel, as required by the specific project they may be working on at the time. About 30% travel is to be expected on average.  The candidate must demonstrate a creative approach to problem solving and should be incredibly detail oriented and have a very strong bias towards operating with discipline.   Most importantly however, they must understand the importance of executing rapidly and getting things done. They must be comfortable with ambiguity and lack of structure and be self motivated and self-disciplined.   Finally, the candidate must demonstrate a high level of empathy and outstanding teamwork, inter-personal skills and communication skills.
