Forrester Bradley - Head - Data Science

Reporting to the Chief Analytics Officer, you will be responsible for heading a team of Data Scientists & Insight Specialists and look after designing and implementing models and algorithms for new problems in online space. You will have the opportunity to have impact on the millions of people have every day in their life.

Responsibilities:

- Manage a team of 10 Data Scientists / Data Mining Specialists

- Work with large amounts of data to identify opportunities that would help improve the experience that our client provides to the users

- Apply predictive modeling and Data Mining techniques for a variety of user modeling tasks

- Work closely with sales, marketing & other teams to test, verify and implement statistical models with our client that impact the daily life of millions of users

Requirements:

- Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, or other quantitative field from a - A- grade school / university.

- 8-10 years of work experience in data science or analytics roles with strong management / leadership skills.

- Experience with some or all of the following: data mining, predictive modeling, statistics, experimental design, computational analytics, econometric modeling

- Strong experience in any of the statistical tolls such as SAS / R / SPSS / Python with advanced skills in SQL.

- Experience working with large data sets, preferably in a Hadoop environment

- Ability to work independently to get an idea from inception to implementation, including knowledge of techniques for validation and testing

- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, product managers, analysts, business, and marketing functions

- Strong business acumen
