Our expertise in the design, development and implementation of solutions and products for energy and water utilities has led us to helping over 20 utilities serving more than 23 million end-customers.  Our time-tested mPower suite of software applications deployed at some of the most IT savvy utilities are a testimony to our strength and capabilities as turnkey system integrators providing end-to-end solutions for customer business transformation.  About the Job  We are looking for a highly-dedicated sales professional with strong ties to the IT for Energy & Utility industry to prospect, qualify, consult with and sell the mPower and nxter suites along with Application Development and Maintenance Services (ADMS) and other IT Services in the North American region.  The ideal candidate shall have intimate knowledge of the industry and the Energy & Utilities domain in general. We look for someone with a penchant for sales, revenue targeting and problem solving capabilities.  Key Areas of Responsibility:  - Directly accountable/responsible for successful sales in the assigned geographies.  - Day-to-day responsibility for all financial and operational account management activities, including: pipeline management, revenue forecasts, proposal and contractual management, and contract quality assurance and compliance.  - From a Go-To-Market perspective, the Business Analyst will be involved with business development with the broader business development and sales team, proposal writing, negotiations, deal closure and key account management for cross-selling and upselling.  - The sales professional will engage the appropriate Business Development team and Fluentgrid SME's to differentiate Fluentgrid in the sales process.  - Presentation/Marketing Skills, Teamwork, Interpersonal and Communication Skills, Expense Account Management, and Excellent Computer Skills are some of the additional skills considered important.  - Represent Fluentgrid at various industry events and retailer associations.  - Extensive travel required.  Desired Skills and Experience  - At least 5-7 years of experience in pre-sales, solutioning, consultative selling, business development, sales or marketing of IT products and services in the Energy & Utility Industry.  - Good to have: At least 5 years of experience with client interaction, relationship building including experience working with client Key Decision Makers and Management.
