Position : Manager - Senior Manager Quality
Location : Bangalore
Job Description :
- Understand the relationships between operational effectiveness, process effectiveness and customer satisfaction
- Manage the process life cycle and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify opportunities for process innovation
- Remove technical and cultural barriers to process-focused management
- Develop overall project plans for cross-organizational projects, consistent with specific project objectives as defined by project owner and key stakeholders
- Direct all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion
Key Responsibilities :
- Financial - Focus on defining process quality norms which reduces customer defects
- Non Financial Building relationship with all teams for effective implementation of quality norms
- Identify opportunities for Business Process Re-engineering
- In line with supply chain practices
- Provide inputs on the basis of proposed process for relevant functions
- Plan and implement proposed changes
- Responsible for improving overall delivery &performance through process efficiencies
- Review and validate data, build and validate models, run scenarios, and present and defend findings
- Turn around analysis in short timespans
- Ability to deliver in unstructured environments
- Cross-functional interaction with Operations, Demand and Technology team to scope out the short term and long term plan
- Ability to summarize findings and present to senior audience.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across teams
Requisite Skills :
- Sound knowledge on FMEA, RCA and Mistake Proofing
- Strong in supplier quality
- Understanding of CAPA
- Certifications in ISO standards with experience of implementation and managing ISO audits across Organisation
- Knowledge on quality tools
- Lean and Six Sigma BB - Certification with hands on experience on continuous improvement projects
- Problem solving skills
- Comfort in working in unstructured environments and fast timelines
- Program Management & People management
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Thorough knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Expertise :
- Graduate/Post Graduate from Tier I / II schools
- 9-15 years Process design and re-engineering related
- Strong people management and cross functional leadership experience
