This individual will lead various supply chain and logistics optimization opportunities to: 1) support the scale of Flipkart rapid growth, 2) reduce Flipkart’s overall SC costs, and 3) improve overall delivery performance to customers through network efficiencies.   Leading and managing an organization in preparation of high level and detailed network design and expansion plans. Developing and maintaining the future architecture roadmap for the network based on service development and demand to support existing and evolving service mix to Flipkart customers. He will also continually look to tighter integration of legacy infrastructure identify network optimization areas and lead the related design efforts. Additionally, the Sr Director of Network Design will lead the enhancement and consolidation of network infrastructure driving improvement in performance, scalability, reliability, cost reduction while supporting present as well as future services.   Responsibilities:   - The qualified candidate must be able to multi task and work under a demanding, fast paced environment working with internal and external department heads. Utilize project management skills on a daily basis with the ability to execute strategic planning across whole of India network. These key result areas include; Establishing business requirements, frame prototypes, test environments, measure improvements and provide “lessons learned” project summary.   - Drive efficiencies, work among the diverse work force and would be responsible for prioritizing and reporting gaps which could have risk and financial impact to the organization. Be able to work across customer fulfilment work streams to constantly improve work flows and enterprise solutions. Present Performance Reviews and lead investigations of potential non-compliance matters, research and reconcile issues pertaining to customer fulfilment.   Key Competencies:   A. The ideal candidate will have the ability to multi task and interact with internal and external customers.   - New products / services tested and deployed, and acceptance in various markets. Network capability enhancements, consolidation of POPs/equipment etc. Network expansion and coverage (POPs, Bandwidth, Partners)   - Accuracy, timeliness and quality of designs, proposals, documentation, project implementations and  Reporting Design reviews and design standardization, Network audit with Ops, Cost optimized designs and handling network vulnerability programs.   Educational Qualification:   Engineering Graduate preferably with an MBA from Tier 1 institutes in India/Abroad with 10 Years of Total Experience .   Min 7 to 10 years of Consulting Experience in Supply Chain - Network design with CPG or Retail Organisations across the globe and must have worked at Boston Consulting Group, Mckinsey, Bain, A T Kearny, SDG and other top tier consulting firms.   Only candidates with experience (current or previous) with above organisations / background should apply.
